The insights gathered within this library are not intended as strict rules for your daily life. You can wash your clothes, cut your hair or clean your home on any given day. This archive serves as a supportive framework for optimal timing. By understanding the shifting currents of the sun and moon, you can navigate everything from daily habits to major life transitions with the least resistance. This information helps you work with the rhythms of nature, allowing you to achieve optimal results with minimal energetic drain on your system.

The New Moon

During the new moon, the night sky goes dark. The clearing current of the waning moon has drawn to a close and the expanding energy of the waxing moon has not yet begun. There is a still threshold here; the new silver crescent will not appear for a few days, removing the need to rush. Often referred to as the pivot day of the moon cycle, this is a quiet space of redirection.

Rest, Fasting & Renewal

The day of the new moon is the ultimate window to rest, gather strength and allow the physical body the space to pause. It is highly beneficial to fast or eat lighter meals and drink plenty of water or cleansing herbal teas. Giving your system this pause fully activates its natural capacity for cellular cleansing and renewal.

Sensitivities & Sleep

Because your energy naturally turns inward, heavy meals and alcohol can leave you feeling more fatigued than on other days. While many people lose sleep during the full moon, a number of sensitive individuals experience restless nights and sleep disruptions during the dark night of the new moon instead.

The Waxing Moon Phase

This is a time of growth, absorption and building momentum. As the moon brightens, its energy pulls upwards from the roots to the surface, making it the ideal window to launch new projects, nurture creative ideas and expand your output. To align your daily routine with this natural current, schedule your daily activities, creative output and planning tasks early in the day, as building momentum feels easier in the morning during this period.

This expanding phase focuses on creation, organising resources and maximising growth. Because everything you do during this upward current is amplified, it is the ultimate window for momentum. Cleaning and scrubbing your home now means you will simply face more upkeep in the future, as surfaces get dirty again faster. Instead, focus your energy on planting things you wish to grow and multiply.

Somatic Absorption

During the waxing moon, the system naturally draws things inward. Your cells actively renew, which means anything you feed your system—whether that is nutrients, ideas or skincare products—is absorbed and used by your body. The somatic focus here is on nervous system nourishment and subtle yoga integration.

Botanical Growth

In the garden, this upward pull makes the waxing moon the best time to sow seeds, repot houseplants and plant crops that produce their harvest above the ground, ensuring lush growth.

The Full Moon

The intense energy of the full moon spans across a three-day window, comprising the peak day itself and the two days leading up to it. This heightened lunar peak often causes restless nights and broken sleep for sensitive systems. If the lunar peak happens in the early hours of the morning, you will likely feel the intensity tapering off gently as the day progresses.

Somatic Absorption & Celebration

During this peak window, the body's capacity to absorb is hyper-charged. Anything you introduce to your system—whether that is nourishing food, vitamins or medications—is taken in with intensity. Interestingly, your internal digestive fire is at its strongest now, allowing your system to comfortably handle larger, richer meals—making the full moon the perfect window for hosting dinner parties, feasts and social celebrations.

Botanical Gathering

In nature, the expanding current pulls all the active elements up into the above-ground parts of the plant. Sap and nutrients gather in the leaves, flowers and fruits, making the full moon the ideal window to harvest herbs for maximum potency. If you are foraging, always ensure you can positively identify a plant before bringing it into your home.

Protection & Nervous System Care

Because the body is in such a heightened, reactive state, any wounds, cuts or bruises sustained during the full moon may heal a little slower than usual. Consider scheduling elective procedures, cosmetic treatments or routine vaccinations away from these three peak days. Because the system is already in a hyper-charged state during the full moon, choosing a calmer lunar window allows your body to process treatments with much less inflammation, bruising and stress.

The Waning Moon Phase

This is a natural time for resetting, clearing out and letting go. As the moon's light fades, its energy shifts downwards, drawing away from the surface and retreating into the roots. This makes it the ideal window to declutter your living space, wrap up lingering projects and tie up loose ends. When structuring your day during this phase, you will naturally find it easier to manage chores and domestic tasks later in the afternoon.

This clearing phase is about environmental purging, sorting clutter and minimising future effort. Because everything you do during this downward current decreases and fades, it is the ultimate window for longevity; completing tasks like deep cleaning, treating stubborn stains and removing unwanted hair now ensures long-lasting results. Materials release dirt more easily during this phase, minimising the energy required to clean them.

Somatic Release

During the waning moon, the body enters a natural elimination and detoxification phase. The system becomes highly efficient at flushing out metabolic waste, shedding toxins and clearing away anything it no longer needs. This leaves you feeling lighter and reset. The somatic focus is on detoxification, physical boundaries, extended rest and letting go of what no longer serves.

Botanical Grounding

In the garden, this downward pull makes the waning moon the perfect time to plant and sow crops that yield their harvest underground. Because the growing energy has retreated beneath the surface, root vegetables and bulbs easily establish a strong, healthy foundation.

The Late-Summer Humidity Window

From 22 July to 23 August 2026, the solar cycle enters the Leo transit. This late-summer window brings a seasonal peak in ambient humidity and heat, making it the ideal time to guard your body against cuts, scrapes and skin punctures with extra mindfulness. Traditional wisdom advises paying close attention during this specific month, as high humidity means skin wounds can easily become infected and take longer to heal. Rather than putting extra stress on your system, keeping your skin treatments minimal protects your system and allows it to remain healthy and unburdened.
